From my early childhood, my parents took me to fairs. That's where my love originated and it has never disappeared. I'm currently visiting fairs throughout the Netherlands to create a time document, capture a zeitgeist and I'm once again captivated by the energy they radiate and the comforting familiar effect they have on me. I also see that little seems to have changed since my younger years and the present time. I’m an old child and I question the norm, see that convention prevails.This is a selection from ‘Up to the top, high in the Sky’.
